Assistant Spa Manager

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join an existing team in our award winning boutique spa. The Spa hosts 6 treatment rooms, there are thermal bathing facilities including 4 sauna/steam rooms and a spa lounge for guests to enjoy before or after their award winning treatments. This is the perfect location for people who thrive in the spa environment and have a passion for delivering high service standards for our discerning clientele.

Qualifications / Skills / Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Spa Supervisor role or a Head Therapist looking for career progression.
• Previous experience in a 5* Spa or similar environment
• Must have experience and understanding of the operational running of a spa
• NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualified, CIDESO, CIBTAC or Massage qualification
• Excellent team work ethic
• A passion for customer service
• Must be exceptionally organised with an outstanding eye for detail
• Great personality, professional but friendly and can put guests at ease
• Articulate and confident communicator with a passion for retail and commercial awareness

Brief Over View Of Duties:

• Hands on with the day to day managing of the team, driving to deliver exceptional customer experiences, assisting where needed, answering staff questions and concerns
• Assisting promptly and effectively with guest issues or concerns for a seamless service recovery
• Responsible for all staff rota’s and holidays etc
• Manage the diary management system ensuring a smooth booking process for all clients. Ensuring the diary have been maximised on, being aware of offers and promotions and actively selling.
• Administration and front of house duties
• Performing high standards of treatments when called upon or guest requests

Spa Therapist

Our Spa Therapist’s is responsible for administering treatments and service excellence and is a leader in her field of work. Passionate and engaging, the Spa Therapist is driven to exceed guest expectations and achieve professional targets for both commercial and personal success.

Job description

• To provide first class treatment and service delivery to a variety of different guests on a consistent and on-going basis, emulating a sense of pride.
• Recommend treatments and retail to guests as per their needs, ethically and professionally, maintaining good        listening skills in order to effectively educate our guests regarding help with true concerns.
• To meet and sometimes exceed personal and professional targets set by the Head Therapist/Senior or Spa Manager    on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Good time management of column.
• Attend training sessions where necessary in order to improve our service and your own development.
• Attend and participate in periodic meetings as and when necessary or called on by the Head Therapist or Spa Manager.
• Maintaining 5 star standards throughout the spa and treatment rooms
• Ensure all tools and equipment are hygienically used and stored correctly and adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• There may from time to time be required to cover the needs of the business in the event of sickness/shortness in staff should it be necessary or pertinent on the day.
• High standard of personal presentation as per the Staff Handbook.
